Locally owned, licensed, and insured, Top Notch Septic Service has built a legacy of family expertise in Chesterfield and Lancaster counties with excellent septic solutions. Our Legacy

It all began in 1970 when James Williams (JW) and his father, Pete Horne, started a septic business. Years later, JW passed his expertise to his nephew, Bryan Horne, who transformed those skills into a full-service septic company.


After two years of clearing land, Bryan recognized a growing need for expert septic services. With that inspiration, he launched Top Notch Septic Service to serve the local community. With that inspiration, he launched Top Notch Septic Service to serve the local community. JW continues to support the family business he and Pete started decades ago.

Bryan Horne – At the Helm

Bryan Horne has built Top Not Septic Service on hard work and family values. In the early years, JW trained Bryan in the trade skills and ethics necessary to lead a team of professionals who deliver quality work consistently.
